Job Opening: General Manager
Daily Groceries Cooperative is seeking a dynamic General Manager with a passion for good food, retail experience, knowledge of natural food products, and an understanding of cooperatives. Daily Groceries is a 13-year-old natural foods cooperative located in a vibrant community. We have annual sales of over $750,000, with steady sales growth each year. We operate out of 900 sq. ft. of retail space with a staff of 12.
The ideal applicant has strong skills in leadership, small-business finances, marketing, customer service, communication, and time management, as well as a willingness to get down and dirty in the day-to-day operation of a lively store. The Economic Justice Coalition needs help reorganizing their website. They need to add a little bit more content and change a couple of tabs.
